His research interests include, among others, political aspects of civic and artistic activities, as well as the history of the University of Gdańsk.

Piotr Patalas

Graduate of the Bachelor’s program in Political Science, President of the Politicus Student Research Club, and Vice-Chair of the Student Parliament of the University of Gdańsk for Communication. His main interests include the political history of the Third Polish Republic and its political system.

Krzysztof Dmochowski

Graduate of the Bachelor’s program in American Studies at the Faculty of Philology, University of Gdańsk, and the Master’s program in Economics at the Faculty of Economics, University of Gdańsk. His research interests include the energy policy of the Russian Federation, with particular focus on Gazprom, as well as the history of the westward expansion of the United States. Privately, he is a fan of fantasy literature and tabletop wargaming.

Master of Economics and graduate of the University of Gdańsk, former handball player. Currently a coach and specialist in the broad field of marketing. Her interests focus on social media activities, AI, and online advertising. In her free time, she is passionate about cooking and artistic baking.

Ignacy Rogoń

Chair of the Doctoral Students’ Council at Gdańsk University of Technology for the 2022–2023 and 2023–2025 terms, and Vice-Chair of the Agreement of Doctoral Students of Technical Universities for the 2024 term. Academically affiliated with the discipline of Biomedical Engineering. His research interests focus particularly on capacitive electrocardiography and tissue vitality monitoring techniques.

Martyna Czudec

PhD student in the field of engineering and technical sciences at Gdańsk University of Technology. Physicist and materials engineer. Her research focuses primarily on thermoelectric materials. Vice-Chair of the Doctoral Students’ Council at Gdańsk University of Technology for the 2022–2023 term. Founder, former chair, and current advisor of the Astrophysics Student Research Club at Gdańsk University of Technology.

Ewelina Pawelczyk

PhD student at the Doctoral School of Gdańsk University of Technology and a member of the University Doctoral Council at Gdańsk Tech. Her doctoral research, conducted at the Department of Process Engineering and Chemical Technology, focuses on combining pyrolysis with dry reforming as a sustainable method for recovering raw materials from plastic waste. A key area of her current work involves developing new catalysts for this technology. Her scientific interests include recycling and waste valorisation, catalysis, green hydrogen production and storage technologies, CO₂ utilisation methods, and future sustainable technologies.

Paweł Serafin

Graduate and current student of the Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology of the University of Gdańsk and the Medical University of Gdańsk. Vice-Chair of the Student Parliament of the University of Gdańsk and Chair of the Student Council of the Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology. His research interests include modern cancer therapies—specifically, the mechanisms of breast cancer microenvironment progression and the role of the complement system in tumor development and cancer treatment—as well as therapies for neurodegenerative diseases.

Karolina Ciemińska

Second-year PhD student in Biological Sciences at the Doctoral School of Exact and Natural Sciences at the University of Gdańsk. Member of the Promotion Team of the Faculty of Biology, University of Gdańsk. Her research interests focus on finding solutions to combat bacterial antibiotic resistance, with particular emphasis on bacteriophages and the lytic enzymes they produce. She is also involved in science communication, especially on topics related to microbiology.

Weronika Kowalska

First-year student of Oceanography. Her interests include, among others, microplastics in the marine environment, environmental protection, and mathematics.

Wiktoria Chudzik

Graduate of Master’s programs in Oceanography and Biology at the University of Gdańsk, currently a PhD student at the Doctoral School affiliated with the Faculty of Oceanography and Geography at the University of Gdańsk. Her work is primarily focused on marine biology. Her scientific interests include cyanobacteria and algae, which she enjoys observing and photographing under the microscope, as well as marine mammals—especially manatees. Her current research focuses on the health of mussels and individual sensitivity among them. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge with others and actively engages in science communication.
