The panel will analyze the key threats, challenges and possible scenarios for the situation. Discussants will discuss the geopolitical consequences of the war, including the role of international organizations, Russia’s deterrence strategy and Ukraine’s future on the international stage. Special attention will also be paid to the issues of hybrid warfare, cyber security and disinformation as tools for influencing societies and politics. Border security and the management of the refugee crisis will be an important focus of the panel. The panel will aim not only to diagnose current threats, but also to develop a strategy for the long-term security of the region.
